He was born January 20, 1945 in Clemmons, NC, to Henry Elwood Lawson and Jettie Pansy Hutchinson Lawson.
He was an insurance agent in Chambersburg for most of his life.
He was the husband of the late Janet Zeger Lawson.
He began worship for Hope Street Mission in November of 1993 until he was physically unable to continue. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Chambersburg.
He is survived by his three children; Darryle (husband of Karrina) Lawson of Chambersburg, Angela Klatt of Advance, NC, and Anthony Lawson of Chambersburg. Ed has two grandchildren; Kennedy Klatt and Alexander Lawson. He is also survived by his soul mate, Sharon Ezelle of Chambersburg.
Burial will be Saturday, January 22, 2011 at Stenger Hill Cemetery.
