Lawrence W. "Bill" Breeding Jr., 63, of Taylor died Friday, February 26, 2011 at the Gulf Coast Medical Center in Ft. Myers following a sudden illness. He was a native of Hollywood, Florida and had resided in Miami before moving to Taylor in 1983.

Mr. Breeding was the son of the late Lawrence W. Breeding Sr. and Alice M. Fields Breeding. He worked as a switchman conductor with CSX in Baldwin for over 20 years until his retirement in 1993. He was a member of Faith Baptist Church, an Army veteran of the Vietnam War and a member of the United Transportation Union of Jacksonville. He enjoyed farming with his tractor and motorcycling.



Survivors include wife Mary E. Breeding of Taylor; step-son Thomas Adams of Cincinnati, Ohio; step-daughter Tracy Adams of Mardela Springs, Maryland; sister Bonnie Breeding of Taylor.

The funeral service was held at 11:00 am on March 2 at his church with Rev. Torran Dismuke officiating. Interment followed at Taylor Cemetery. Guerry Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
