Audrey N. Morris

Audrey N. Morris, 70, of Island died June 2, 2000, at the Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville.

Born in Ohio County, she retired after more than 40 years of service from the General Electric Corporation in Owensboro. She was a member of the Island United Methodist Church and enjoyed her church and family.

Survivors include her husband of 47 years, Michael Morris; two sons, Dennis Morris of Vinita, Okla. And Thomas Morris of Owensboro; a daughter, Cheryl Morris of Owensboro; four grandchildren; a brother, Albert Neal of Greenville; and a sister, Irene Tichenor of Fort Wayne, Ind.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. June 5 at Muster Funeral Homes Livermore Chapel with the Rev. Harry Lewis officiating. Burial was in the Island Methodist Cemetery.

The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Island Methodist Cemetery Fund, c/o J.D. Hardison, P.O. Box 162, Island, Ky. 42350. Memorial contribution envelopes are available at the funeral home.
