Newton Edward Pick, 68 died here yesterday at 6pm after an illness of two years. born in union County he had lived here for the last 45 years, he was a farmer. He was a member of the Evangelical Church at Greenburr.
Surviving are his wife Anna, a daughter Mrs. Joseph Marshall of Lock Haven, a son Stanley of Loganton, three stepsons: Richard & Elmer Douty of Loganton, Chester Douty of Altoona, also 12 grandchildren, one great grandchild. a sister Mrs. John Shaulters (Sholter) of Laurelton and 4 brothers: Frank, Charles & Adam of Mifflinburg, and Levi of Harrisburg.
