Gregory Charles Conrad, 44, First South, Lunenburg County, died June 26, 1993, in Fishermen's Memorial Hospital, Lunenburg. Born in Lunenburg, he was a son of Collon and Evangeline (Knickle) Conrad, First South. In his earlier years, he had worked at National Sea Products, Lunenburg for 15 years and was then employed with Michelin Tire, Bridgewater and Lips N.V. Canada. Prior to his illness, he was employed with Hawboldt's Limited, Chester. He was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, First South, Lunenburg Fire Department and was an avid sportsman, who enjoyed hockey. He is survived by his wife, the former Rosalean Cook; two daughters, Trudy, Amanda, both at home; son, Ryan, at home; two brothers, Gilbert, Lunenburg; Glen, First South; several aunts and uncles. He was predeceased by an infant brother, David. A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday in Grace Lutheran Church, Rev. James Dauphinee officiating. Burial will be in Sunny Valley Cemetery, Centre. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Canadian Cancer Society, Grace Lutheran Church, Canadian Diabetes Association, or any charity.
