Aunt Nina was married to Raymond R. Chapman on Sep. 24, 1911 in Beebe, AR, where they made their first home. In about 1920 they moved to Custer County, OK, living and farming in the Arapaho/Stafford communities. She was a loyal wife and mother, caring for her family under difficult circumstances during the early days in Oklahoma. After retirement, they moved into Arapaho. She passed away in the Clinton, Oklahoma, Hospital after a long struggle with cancer. Burial was in the Arapaho Cemetery.

Survivors include her husband and five children: Elvin and wife Ida Pearl of Arkansas; Lucille and husband Woodrow Langley of Arapaho; Raymond and wife Helen of Lawton, OK; Irene of Houston, TX and Nora Lou and husband Floyd Nonast of Bessie, OK. Also surviving are several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
