Dolly June Atterberry

Dolly June Atterberry, age79, of Fulton, Missouri died June 20, 1987 at the Callaway Community Hospital.

Dolly was born July 16, 1907 in Steedman, Missourit, the daughter of Solomon and Dora (Hook) Rose.

Dolly was married to Alvin Woody and he preceded her in death in 1953. She later married Nolan Jinx Atterberry, who also preceded her in death in 1962.

She was also preceded in death by parents; three brothers, Joseph, Champ and Carl; two sisters, Vessie Chevelian and Margie Kleindienst; one infant brother and one infant sister.

Survivors include two brothers, Elmer Rose of Kansas City, Missouri and Lennie Rose of Fulton, Missouri; four sisters, Abigale Middaugh and Mary Boemaker, both of Fulton, Missouri; Pauline Tuttie and Katie Crosswhite, both of St. Ann, Missouri; a number of nieces and nephews.

Dolly worked at the Fulton State Hospital in housekeeping for a number of years, later after retirement, she was a foster grandparent.

Funeral services will will be Tuesday, June 23 at 2:00pm at Maupin Funeral Home in Fulton with Reverend Don Stassel officiating. Visitation will be Monday, June 22, at 4:00pm at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.
