Hazel Reed died at the home of her sister Helen Cook.

Hazel McWhirter of Navarre, Florida; Formerly of Huntsville Alabama died Monday. She was 92.
Mrs. McWhirter worked for Belk-Hudson before retiring, was a member if Mt. Zion church and was proceded in death by her husband Hugh McWhirter. Survivors include two sisters, Bonnie Kinkle and Helen Cook, both of Navarre, four brothers, Lolan Reed of Huntsville, Beman Reed of Erin Tenn. and Wilford Reed and Leroy Reed both of Athens Texas: several nieces and nephews. She had no children
A graveside service was Friday at Huntsville Memorial Gardens with the Rev. David McMichael officiating. Spry Funeral Home was charge of the burial.
