Susanne left us peacefully to be with the Lord Sunday morning, May 23, 2010. Sue was born to Harry D. Sloan and Sarah (Bergin) Sloan on January 30, 1925, Everett, Wa. Sue graduated from Holy Names Academy. She met Richard J. Walsh after his return from active duty in the navy in World War 11. Married in Saint James Cathedral in 1948, they settled in Magnolia to raise their family, Sarah and James. Sue and Dick were longtime members of Our Lady of Fatima parish. Mom always warmly welcomed those who entered their home. She looked forward a good game of bridge and her passion was reading. One of mom'm greatest gifts fo family and friends was her sense of humor and her ability to make them laugh. She was truly a beautiful woman. Preceded in death by her husband Richard in 2003, Sue is survived by her daughter Sarah (Joseph Williams) and her son James (Kathleen) and three grandchildren. A funeral Mass will be held in her honor on Friday, May 28th at 8:AM at Our Lady of Fatima Church, 3218 West Barrett St., Seattle.
