FINAL RITES FOR MES. CARSTENSEN HELD MAY 14
WYOMING...Funeral services for Mrs. Lois M. Carstensen, 51, were at the Wyoming Methodist church Saturday, May 14, at 1:30 p.m. Burial was in the Wyoming cemetery.
Mrs. Carstensen was born near Wyoming on Nov 15, 1925, the daughter of Solomon and Frances Anderson Bahnsen. She attended rural schools in Oxford Township, and married August Carstensen, Jr. at Davenport on Jan 276, 1945. The couple farmed near Wyoming until the death of her husband in 1972.
She died at the John McDonald hospital in Monticello on Wednesday, May 11, 1977.
She is survived by one son, Dennis of Wyoming, three grandchildren, her mother, Mrs. Frances Bahnsen of Oxford Junction, one sister, Mrs. Marian Romer of Maquoketa; one brother Wayne of Wyoming
She was preceded in death by her husband, her father and an infant sister.
