Gloria Jean Smith, 55, of Jonesboro, AR., died Tuesday, May 10, 2011, at home with her family.
Gloria made her home in Jonesboro, AR., coming from Palestine, AR. She worked in operator services at Southwestern Bell (now AT&T) Telephone Co. in Jonesboro before transferring to Little Rock, AR., where she later retired. She was a member of Mount Gillian Baptist Church at Palestine.
Survivors include her husband, Calvin of the home; children, Orlando Smith and Kimberlee Smith, both of Jonesboro, and Angela Smith of Atlanta; sister, Reatha Smith of Jonesboro; four grandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
Services were at Mount Gillian in Palestine. Burial was in Gills Cemetery at Gill directed by Woodard Funeral Service.
