Opal "Pete" Yarbrough went to be with the Lord on Friday, October 19, 2007, at the age of 90. She was born in Sasakawa, Oklahoma, March 20, 1917, to Milo Cecil & Debetha "Biddie" (Brown) Scroggins. Pete accepted the Lord and was baptized in 1939. She loved to work with flowers and in the garden. She was an avid OU fan and enjoyed fishing at Spaniard Creek with family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, four sisters, her busband, Elgie Yarbrough and two sons, Gene Yarbrough and Glenn "PeeWee" Yarbrough.

Survivors include one son, Jerry Lynn Yarbrough & wife Peggy of Wagoner; daughters-in-laws, JoAnn Yarbrough and Margaret Yarbrough, both of Muskogee; eight grandchildren fifteen great grandchildren and ten great great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00a.m. tuesday, October 23, 2007 at the Bradley Belltower Chapel with her grandson, Reverend David Yarbrough officiating. Interment will be held at 2:00p.m. in Tate Mountain Cemetery, Wewoka, Ok. Robert Felts, Larry Moore, Joshua Standridge, Nathan Yarbrough, Blake Yarbrough and John Standridge will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are Max Smith, Kale Smith, Jerry Price, Buster Price, Lloyd Scroggins and Larry Scroggins.

The family has entrusted Bradley Family Funeral Service of Muskogee with the arrangements.
