Patricia Tubbs Adair, 94, passed away Wednesday, May 11, 2011. Graveside service will be 1 p.m. Thursday, May 12, at Waco Memorial Park with Mr. Foree Grove officiating. Family visitation will be 9 to 11 a.m. Thursday, May 12, at Connally/Compton Funeral Directors.
Patricia Cora Maude was born in Somervell County, Texas, to the late G. L. and Mary Estess Tubbs. Patricia married John Garland Adair on Nov. 5, 1946. She was a resident of Waco from 1948 until she moved to Bryan in 2006 to be near her daughter.
She was preceded in death by her husband on Jan. 13, 1991.
Survivors include her daughter, Patricia Adair, of Bryan; son, John Garland Adair II, of Waco; granddaughter, Cheryl Allen and husband, Britt, of College Station; great-grandsons, Tyler, Tanner and Tate Allen, of College Station; brothers, Louis Tubbs, of Grand Prairie, and William Tubbs, of Seguin; many other family members; and a host of friends.
