William F. Bergmann, 44, long prominent in Washington business circles, died early yesterday at his residence, 1343 Ingraham Street, after a lingering illness. Mr. Bergmann was owner of the cleaning and laundry business bearing his name, and of the Bergmann laundry and dry cleaning firm in Rosslyn, VA. He was born in Washington, August 10, 1890, and resided in the Brightwood section all his life. He had been ill for the past seven years. Surviving Mr. Bergmann are his wife, Mrs. Leonora Payne Bergmann, and two sons, Harry P. and William F. He also leaves his father, five sisters and four brothers. Funeral services will be held today at the residence at 2pm, with burial in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
