FLOY HENSLEY
Floy Isal Hensley was called to her heavenly home Sunday, Aug. 21, 2005. She was born on a farm east of Confidence, Iowa on March 28, 1904, the eldest child of Edward and Bessie Inez Fenton. She had two brothers, the late Alva Fenton, and Wilbur Fenton, Centerville and one sister, Beulah Fenton Mikels, Centerville.
She was married for 42 years to the late Hall S. Hensley. They had two sons, the late Richard L. Hensley, and Robert K. Hensley, Peeples Valley, Ariz. and Russell, Iowa. She had six grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and eleven great-great-grandchildren.
Floy was a woman of great faith and was a tremendous blessing to her family and friends. She was active in her church and a volunteer at the Senior Citizen's Center for many years.
Her family and friends joyously celebrated her 100th birthday in 2004, a time filled with great memories and reflection on a wonderful life. She is deeply missed.
Graveside services were held at the Chariton Cemetery Wednesday, Aug. 24 at 11 a.m.
