Carthage Man Passes Away in Joplin After Heart Attack
George Earnest Clubb, 53, a native of Carthage, died following a heart attack at 12:30 o'clock yesterday afternoon at the home of Mrs. Mattie Hartley, in Joplin. Mr. Clubb went to Joplin Saturday from Kansas City, where he had been employed and had expected to return there last night.
Mr. Clubb, who had lived in this vicinity all of his life, went to Kansas City only a short time ago. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Emma Clubb of Kansas City and three sisters; Mrs. Marie Sewell and Mrs. Edith Yocum of Joplin and Mrs. R. I. Porter of Kansas City. The body is at Parker-Hunsaker Funeral Home in Joplin.
