Henry H Twist, aged 65 years a veteran of the civil war died in Baltimore on 10-14-1907. His great grandfather served in the Revolutionary Army and father in the War of 1812. He was born in Bedlow, New York, where the Statue of Liberty now stands. He was one of the first volunteers in the civil war to respond to call to action by Abraham Lincoln for 75,000 union troops. He was awarded a medal for his service. He served as a trumpeteer for the Maryland Calvary. He is survived by his widow Mary A Logue, three sons, Stephen, Henry, and Harry, four daughters and many grandchildren
