Elizabeth Jane Davis Ent was born in Oct 1782 by calculating it using her age and date of death per her grave marker. (A Geneanet Community Tree Index found on Ancestry states 1786.)

Because her grave marker gives "Jane" as her given (first) name, I was puzzled by many records coming up in Ancestry for "Elizabeth Davis" when I searched for Jane Ent. It took me awhile to be convinced Elizabeth Davis and Jane Davis were the same person, daughter of Azariah Davis and Elsie/Alice VenMeter. Apparently Elizabeth preferred her middle name as she grew older, or maybe when she married, because "Jane Ent" is how she is listed in the 1850 and 1860 Census records. Jane's children with Peter per the 1850 and 1860 Census records were:

Since the 1850 Census reported Jane as age 58 and the oldest child, Isaac, as age 30 (born~1820), that would make Jane age 28 when she had Isaac. Since this is quite a bit later than most married women of this era having their first child, I suspected Jane had had at least one child, and possible 3 or more prior to Isaac. This prompted me to check FamilySearch, and indeed I found 3 other children listed for Jane and Peter:

--Margaret Ent: 1810 - 1899: I searched for Margaret but initially found no records; subsequently I believe I found her in the 1870 Census listed as Margaret Goodrich, age 60 (= b 1810), b PA; she is living with Isaac Ent, son of Peter and Jane Ent in Lincoln Township, Andrew County, MO; will be researching further
