John Counts Aden, age 70 of Sevierville, passed away Tuesday, May 10, 2011. He was born in Livingston, TX. John graduated from Sam Houston State University in Hunstville, TX and retired from Texaco, Inc. after 31 years. He and his wife Yvonne moved to Sevierville, TN in 2006, and were employed by Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, TN. He was a Vietnam Veteran and a member of the Seymour Volunteer Fire Department. John was a licensed square dance caller and had an exhibition group called The Smoky Mountain Twirlers, who he enjoyed very much traveling and performing at different festivals for 4 years. He was a member of the Seymour United Methodist Church.

Granddaughters: Dylan and Ayden Meise
Brother: David Aden and wife Dee
Nieces: Monica Caldwell and Katrice Aden

The family will receive friends 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM Friday with memorial service to follow at 7:30 PM in Atchley's Smoky Mountain Chapel in Pigeon Forge.
