was born in Edmeston on January 29, 1881, daughter of Everett and Ida (Ray)
Simmons. She was married to Mr. Colegrove on January 23, 1907. Besides her
husband, she leaves a son Lorenzo; three grandchildren; three brothers, Carl of
Gilbertsville, and Lauren and Ray Simmons of Edmeston; three sisters, Mrs.
Chester Houk and Miss Ada Simmons, both of Edmeston, and Mrs. Carrie Bennett,
West Burlington; a half-sister, Mrs. Robert Larrabee, Edmeston; her stepmother,
Mrs. Hattie Simmons, and nieces and nephews. Mrs. Colegrove attended the
Methodist Church. She also was a member of the Wharton Grange. The funeral was
held at 2 p.m. Saturday from the Houk Funeral Home, the Rev. Leonard Davis
