She was born Dec. 28, 1942 to Norman J. and Mignon Torkeldsen Astle at Ft. Francis E. Warren in Cheyenne, Wyoming. Married Howard Dale Holfeltz Sept. 6, 1974 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Lynn enjoyed serving people, art, music, and cake decorating.
She is survived by her husband, Howard; three daughters, Nancy Stanley, Ruth Atkinson, and Jennifer Holfeltz; two sons, Alan and Robert Holfeltz; one granddaughter, Tianne Stanley; mother, Mignon Brinton; brother, Ross Castleton; and a sister, Norma Oviatt. Preceded in death by her father, Norman Astle.
Funeral services Friday, November 20, at 12 noon, Winder 2nd Ward, 1361 East 4000 South. Friends may call at the Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple, Thursday evening 6-8 p.m., and at the ward Friday, 10:30-11:50 a.m.
