The funeral of Mrs. John Ray was held from the Methodist Church Wednesday afternoon, Dec. at 2 o'clock. Rev. Sheard officiating. A large number of friends and relatives were present to pay their respects to the departed, and followed the remains to Forest Hill Cemetery where they were laid to rest.
Mrs. Ray was sixty-eight years old at the time of her demise. She was born in New York and came to Wisconsin when she was a small child, and to Grand Rapids in 1881. She is survived by two sons, Albert Ray, of Halder, Wis, and John Ray, of Green Bay; and three daughters, Mrs. Frank Dudley and Mrs. Peter Love, both of this city; and Mrs. Wm. Gardner of Spokane, Wash.
