Oscar Lee Snyder Born in St. Louis, MO on April 6, 1904. He received a bachelor of science in Accounting from Armstrong College, earned a certified public accounting degree and later went into private practice. He was hired by Air Reduction Corporation as a traveling auditor in 1936. Over a 33-year career he was comptroller of two subsidiaries, assistant secretary of the company and manager of real estate. In 1969 he and his wife, Amy, moved to Rossmoor. He served on the Golden Rain Board of Directors and was very active and recognized for his 25-year contribution to the development of the Rossmoor Library. He was an elder of Grace Presbyterian Church, a 30-year member of Rossmoor Lions, a member of Hi 12 Club and a member of the Shrine and Masonic Lodge #408 in Lafayette. He was married to his wife Amy for 50 years. She predeceased him in 1982. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, February 11, 2004 at 1:00 p.m. at Grace Presbyterian Church.
