Verla Purser was born 25 Jun 1906 at Rigby, Jefferson, Idaho, USA to Clifford Purser and Amelia Louisa Jeffs. She lived on a farm seven miles outside of Idaho Falls and moved into town while she attended school.
Her family moved to Rigby, Jefferson, Idaho where she graduated from High School.
23 May 1928 she married Josepj Edmond Lovell in the Salt Lake City, LDS Temple.
They lived and farmed in the Ririe, Shelton, and Clark areas. They live in Brigham City, Box Elder, Utah for a short time and later bought a dry farm in Dillon, Montana where they lived several years. After Joe retired from farming they moved back to Idaho to Idaho Falls where she spent the remainder of her life.
Verla was a homemaker and an active member of the LDS Church.
She died 30 May 198in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Her children are: Virgil L., Artell J., Edmond V., Loaine (Donald) Larsen, and Helen (Kent) Harker.
Verla is buried in the Ririe Shelton Cemetery.
