Edna Brittany, 91, Brainerd, passed away Wednesday, June 14, 2006, at her home. She was born on April 30, 1915, in Boyd, Minn., to Bernard and Marie (Walter) Luttmann. She married Alexander Brittany on Oct. 11, 1940, in Brainerd. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Brainerd and the Zion Ladies Aid.

Survived by her daughters, Jean (Bruce) Gross, of Windom, Minn., Myra (Bruce) Haugene, of Highland Village, Texas, and Kathy Dale, of Carlsbad, Calif.; five grandchildren, Krista Jass, Brett Gross, Zachary Dale, Adam Haugene and Jennifer Dale; three great-grandchildren, Dylan Gross, Bruce Gross and Teegan Jass. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband in 1996; and her brothers and sisters.

Services will be held on Saturday, June 17, 2006, at 11 a.m. at Zion Lutheran Church in Brainerd with Pastor Mark Kleckner officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Friends may call on Friday from 5-7 p.m. at the Halvorson-Johnson Funeral Home in Brainerd and one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday.
