A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, May 12, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Lyons Point for Hilda L. Adam, 89, who died peacefully with the Lord at 7:10 a.m. on Tuesday, May 10, 2011 at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center in Lafayette.
Msgr. Paul Metrejean will officiate for the services. The family requests visiting hours Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. A rosary will be recited Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. by Deacon Rodless Leleux. Burial will be in St. John the Baptist Cemetery.
Mrs. Adam is survived by two daughters, Marilyn A. Adams of Abbeville, Elizabeth A. Langlinais and her husband Richard of Kaplan; one son, Russell A. Adam and his wife Pamela of Lafayette; one sister, Evelyn L. Faulk of Crowley; and the loves of her life, her grandchildren, Laura H. LeBeouf and her husband Brett, Roxanne H. Touchet and her husband Darrin, Todd V. Adam and his wife Jennifer, Ginger E. Adam, Sarah M. Adam, Adam-Paul Langlinais and Marcie A. McBride and her husband Todd; seven great-grandchildren, Brittany LeBeouf, Lance LeBeouf, Garrett Touchet, Trey Touchet, Anna Claire Adam, Ava Camille Adam, and Edward McBride.
She was preceded in death by her husband of sixty years, Camile Adam; her father and mother, Freddie and Elida Hanks Lemaire; one brother, Danny Lemaire; one sister, Zora L. Myers.
