Alfred Miller Figgins, 69, of 405 Salem Ave., Front Royal, died November 28, 1990 in Warren Memorial Hospital. The funeral was held November 30 at Maddox Funeral Home in Front Royal with the Rev. Richard Keller officiating. Burial was in Shenandoah Memorial Park.
Mr. Figgins was born July 17, 1921, in Albemarle County, Virginia, the son of the late William E. and Dora C. Garrison Figgins Sr. He was an electrician for the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 672 and a deputy for the Warren County Sheriff's Department. He was a member of Front Royal United Methodist Church and an army veteran of World War II.
Surviving are his wife, Katherine Sealock Figgins; one son, Gary Austin Figgins of Front Royal; one daughter. Connie F. Carter of Austin, Texas; one brother, Lemuel D. Figgins of Front Royal; one sister, Jane Baumann of Front Royal; and six grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Ashby Crowder, Lynn Armentrout, Kent Prints, Compton Eshelman, Wayne Eshelman and Fred Hinkins.
