Mrs. Claude Bedford, 90, Dies at Paris
PARIS — Funeral services are pending at the Agnew funeral home in Paris for Mrs. Claude Bedford, 90, who died at Pleasant View Rest Home, Paris, at 11 p.m. Monday. She had had been a resident there for number of years. Mrs. Bedford had recently undergone surgery at Audrain Medical Center.
She was born Dec. 5 [sic], 1880, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Steve White. The former Miss Mabel White was married to Claude Bedford near Florida, Mo. Mr. Bedford died two years ago. They had lived in Paris for many years, where Mr. Bedford was Paris postmaster. In later years, they had lived in Stoutsville.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. John Holder of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and Mrs. Cecil Howe of Atlanta, Ga.; a grandson; and two great-grandsons.

PARIS, Mo. — Mrs. Mabel Bedford, 90, of Paris, died Monday (Dec. 7, 1970) at 11 p.m. in a Paris nursing home. Funeral arrangements are being handled by the Agnew Funeral Home.
Mrs. Bedford was born in Monroe County, Dec. 6, 1880, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Steve White. She married Claude Bedford. He preceded her in death.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. John Holder of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and Mrs. Cecil Howe of Atlanta, Ga.; a grandchild, and two greatgrandchildren.
