Death of W. B. Williams
A telegram was received here last Friday morning conveying the sad news of the death of W. B. Williams, which occurred at his home in Mountainair, New Mexico, on Thursday evening, June 2, at 6 o'clock. Mr. Williams formerly lived in LaFayette and had many friends here and throughout the county, who will be grieved to learn of his death. He moved from LaFayette to Lineville, living in that place for several years and then moving to New Mexico.
The deceased is survived by his wife and five children; one brother - Tom Williams and one sister - Mrs. Miles, both living near Tiller's X Roads, in this county.
The remains were interred in the cemetery at Mountainair last Friday afternoon.
