A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday at Brigham Cemetery near Campbell with Dr. James Ralson officiating.
Visitation will be from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM Tuesday at Coker-Mathew Funeral Home.
Born February 1, 1929 in Cedar Town, Georgia, Grace was the daughter of Sam and Nellie (Beatenbo) Vines.
She married Herb Samples in Greenville.
She worked in manufacturing and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Campbell.
Survivors include her son Kenny Payne and wife, Joann of Dallas and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband and her son Thomas Clifton Payne
