OBITUARY Iron River Reporter May 2 1963 "Rites Today For John Javoroski, 65"
Funeral services for John Javoroski, 65, of Iron River were held this morning at the Assumption Church in Iron River. The Rev. Jerome Larson officiated at the Requiem high Mass.
A brief prayer service was held at 9:40 a.m. in the Johns-Fell Chapel prior to the services.
Mr. Javoroski passed away unexpectedly Monday afternoon at his residence. He was born Dec. 17, 1897 in Iron River Township and lived there his entire life.
A member of the Michigan Milk Producers Association, he had owned and operated the family homestead all his life.
Surviving are two brothers, Joseph of Iron River and Peter, Marinesco; three sisters, Mrs. Gregory (Frances) Donati of Iron River, Mrs. Norman Goroski of Lansing and Mrs. Bessie Carpenter of Lansing.
Three nieces and two nephews also survive.
The remains will be placed in the Iron River City Cemetery following the church services.
A parish rosary was recited last night at 8 p.m. in the Johns-Fell Chapel.
