He was born Sept. 25, 1892, in Brockett, Ark., to James and Minnie (Abernathy) Foster.
He was a member of the First Baptist Church here and a veteran of World War I.
On Sept. 4, 1919, he married the former Miss Rosie Uzzle, who survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Thomas E. and James D. Foster; two daughters, Mrs. Mildred Hitt and Mrs. Edith L. Randle; a brother, R.C. Foster; 18 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Three brothers preceded him in death.
Funeral service will be held Tuesday at the Morley First Baptist Church with burial in the New Morley Cemetery here.
