THOMAS ADAMS, 88, formerly of New Bremen, OH died Sunday, May 8, 2011 at 3:17 A.M. at the Springfield Masonic Home, Springfield, OH. He was born January 24, 1923 in Grangemouth, Scotland, the son of Thomas and Agnes (Allan) Adams. In 1947, he married Lois Craft who survives in Springfield. Also surviving are his sons Ronald (Brenda) Adams of New Bremen and Thomas (Martha) Adams of Tampa, FL and his six grandchildren. Preceding him in death was his sister Gertrude Sigle.

Mr Adams served with the U.S. Army in the European Theater during WW II. He was a 32nd Degree Mason and a member of the Scottish Rites Lodge in the Youngstown-Cleveland area. In 1982 he retired after over 40 years from the AT&T Corporation.

The family will be holding private services. Gilberg-Hartwig Funeral Home of New Bremen is handling the arrangements.
