The funeral for Beatrice Nellie Eppard, 82, Route 1, Dayton will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the Briery Branch Church of the Brethren. Minister James Joyner will conduct the service. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Eppard died Oct 18, 1994, at the Avante of Harrisonburg Nursing Home.
She was born Dec. 6, 1911, in Elkton and was a daughter of the late Clark and Idabelle Morris Hammer.
Mrs. Eppard lived most of her life in Harrisonburg and was a member of the Briery Branch Church of the Brethren, where she was active with the senior citizens and women's fellowship.
Her husband, Homer L. Eppard, died in 1967.
Surviving are one daughter, Louise Partlette, Harrisonburg; two sons, Elwood Eppard, Dayton, and Robert Eppard, Harrisonburg, two sisters, Mae Gilkerson, Grottoes, and Hilda Lambert, Penn Laird, 20 grandchildren; and 28 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at 7 p.m. today at the home of Elwood Eppard, Route 1, Dayton.
