Peek, Jasper C., 77, Piedmont, died Wednesday. Funeral services Bethel Baptist Church, Forney, today at 10:30 a.m. with Revs. M. M. Kennedy and Ross Minton officiating. Survivors: son, James J. Peek, Satellite Beach, Fla., daughters, Mrs. Don Conroy, Mrs. Russell Harper, both of Orlando, Fla., Mrs. Joseph Gillespie, Jacksonville, Fla., 17 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; sisters, Mrs. J. L. Williams, Mrs. Joe Baker, both of Piedmont; brother, Rev. C. H. Peek, Gadsden. Mr. Peek was a retired barber and worked for American Bible Society for 25 years. He was a native of Cherokee County.

Piedmont-Jasper C. Peek, 76, died Wednesday night at a local nursing home after an extended illness.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Bethel Baptist Church in Forney with the Revs. M. M. Kennedy and Ross Minton officiating. Burial will be in Forney Cemetery, Mickelsen Brown-Service in charge.

Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Helen Harper of Orlando, Fla.; Mrs. Evelyn Gillespie of Jacksonville, Fla., and Mrs. Frances Conroy of Orlando, Fla.; one son, James of Cocoa, Fla.; one brother, C. H. Peek of Gadsden; two sisters, Mrs. J. L. Williams and Mrs. J. H. Baker of Piedmont and 15 grandchildren.

Active pallbearers will be nephews.

Mr. Peek, a resident of the Piedmont area all his life, was a retired barber.
