Roland,, or Roy as he perferred to be called, was a very close friend of mine for over twenty years. I just recently was shocked to find out he has passed on. I just spoke to him a few days before and he was fine, worried about me and told me he was coming in from Tampa to see me on Wednesday. He loved Karoke, and he sang Roy Orbision songs perfectly, some Bobby Vinton ones too. Singing was his passion. I now have reason to believe that Roy lost his life due to complications of gall bladder surgery, I have obtained his death certificate, which in Florida does not list cause of death, so I contacted the hospice, hospital and funeral home, and from what I was told by them , and putting it together with what Roy told me,,,, I believe that was the cause.
