Melvin Luther Boles was born to James Luther Boles and Winona Esther Lancaster Boles in 1904. He was the oldest son of 9 children. He met and married Dorothy Ethyl Polk in 1931. They moved to Pampa Texas where Melvin worked in the oil fields. They returned to Oklahoma and tragically Melvin died in 1942. Survivors included his wife, Dorothy, and 2 sons, Donald and Bruce. Melvin died of CNS Lues and a Ruptured Stomach.
