Survived by wife, Pauline Thomas of Seymour; two sons, Ralph and Ray Galyon; daughters, Eula (Mrs Bob) Williams; father. Grandchildren, Donnie Galyon, Dennis Galyon, Eddie Galyon, Barry Williams, Rebecca Byrd, Jennifer Williams, Elizabeth King and Teresa Glaze; great-grandchildren Tyson Galyon, Nicholas Byrd, Nicole Galyon, Crystal Glaze; brothers Mel, Alfred, Luke and Otha Galyon; sister, Aileen Hurst. Loved music and was the choir leader at Sugar Loaf Baptist Church; member 51 years.
