He was born in Rankweil, Vorarlberg, Austria, the son of the late John and Catherine Walser Jenny. He came to this country at the age of 22.
He married Mary Jaeger of Baden, Germany, 37 years ago., the wedding taking place in Utica.
Surviving him are four sons, Alois J. Jenny, Jr. and Leo Jenny of Utica; Jacob and Otto Jenny of Cottonwood, Idaho; a brother, Jacob Jenny, Utica and a sister, Louisa Lang, of Texas.
