Bruce Alston Morrison, 89, Halifax, died February 8, 1997, in QEII Health Sciences Centre, VG Site. Born in Falkirk, Scotland, he was a son of the late Angus and Mary (Alston) Morrison. He retired as a master baker in confectioner in Scotland and moved to Nova Scotia after his retirement. Surviving are his wife, the former Dorothy Eugenia Larkin; daughter, Roberta Harris, Scotland; stepdaughters, Dorothy Malone, Enfield; Sylvia Malloy, Lochaber, Antigonish County; Muriel Cleveland, Sandford, Yarmouth County; son, Angus, Scotland; stepson, Willard Larkin, Halifax; sister, Marion Tory, Halifax; brother, Angus, Australia; several grandchildren; great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his first wife, the former Cathy McCombie; second wife, the former Helen Baker; sister, Anenni Smith. Visitation 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today in Snow's Funeral home, Windsor Street, Halifax. Funeral 2 p.m. Tuesday in Faith Tabernacle Church, Rev. Michael Oud officiating. Spring burial in Fairview Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations to Heart and sStroke Foundation of Nova Scotia or to any charity.
