Born in Des Moines on March 6, 1903, Mrs. Agan lived in Chariton before returning here in 1944. She died after an illness of six months.
Surviving are her husband, Shelby; five daughters, Jacquetta (Phil) Martinache, Edith (Stanley) Gullion, Jo Ann (Gale) Lamberson, Martha (Dick) Miller, and Pamela (Jerry) Elwood, all of Des Moines; eight sons, James (Agatha) of Winterset, Fred (Rose) of Seattle, Washington, and Laurel (Marge), Charles (Virginia), Earl (Myrna), Allan (Lura), Larry (Janette) and Michael (Jan) all of Des Moines; 27 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren; and four sisters, Myrtle Nordeen; Marie Logsdon, Jen Walker and Martha Mae (Bill) Johnson.
