Maris Yauger, 61, of Lock Four, Charleroi, died at his home at 3 o'clock Saturday morning after a lingering illness. He had resided there for 17 years, previously being a resident of Lemont.
He is survived by his (2nd) wife, the following children, Mrs. Rachel Martin, Smithfield; Betty, of Washington D. C.; Lela, Alice and Alberta; at home; Brent, of Mt. Independence; Jacob, of Lock Four and Kenneth, of Charleroi; four sisters, Mrs. Wesley VanGilder, Brookville, Md.: Mrs. Jessie Brown, Sandy Creek, Md.; Mrs. William Davidson, Percy, and Mrs. Charles Barnett, Lemont Furnace, and nine grandchildren.
Brief rites will be held at 2 o-clock this afternoon in the home, with additional services at 2:30 in Cove Run church. Rev. Gilmore will officiate and burial will be in Cove Run cemetery.
