“DIED, In Chemung, on the 30th ult., ABSALOME CARY Esq. aged 78 years. Mr. Cary entered the service of the American Revolution at the age of 15 years, and continued in the service until the close of the war. His life was an example of Christian piety; he died in full faith of a glorious resurrection.”
