Katherine Annette Vanhorn,58 , passed away Thursday, May 5, 2011 at her home in Terry. Visitation will be 5-8pm Friday, May 6, 2011 and 11am until the 1pm funeral service Saturday, May 7, 2011, all at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram. Interment will follow at Terry Cemetery.
Mrs. Vanhorn was born March 6, 1953 in Greenville, MS to Hubart Lamar Bishop and Vera Pearl Wilcher Bishop. She was a homemaker having lived all her life in the Jackson area.
Survivors include her son Douglas Wayne Elkins of Puckett; daughters DeVera Michelle Duran and Charity Joyce Elkins both of Brandon; brothers Herbert Levan Bishop and Harold Wayne Bishop both of Raymond, Walter Lamar Bishop and James Farrell Bishop both of Pearl; sister Willie Patterson of Terry; 8 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter.
