Born & lived in Ohio until being an Oregon Trail pioneer with husband John in the 1860s to the Washington Territory after their son William D Mc(I)Elroy had settled there with family. Moved to live with daughter Nancy Mc(I)Elroy Ackerman's family in Petaluma in 1880.
