Mrs. Rose A. Jaraczewski, 84, of Route 2, La Salle, died at 6:35 a.m. Jan. 17 in Illinois Valley Community Hospital, Peru.
Funeral services will be at 11:30 a.m. Monday in the Burgess Funeral Home, La Salle, with a noon Mass in St. Hyacinth’s Church, the Rev. Francis Kasperski officiating. Burial will be in St. Hyacinth’s Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 2-5 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home, with a 3 pm. rosary.
She was born July 3, 1908, in Peru to Joseph and Rose (Kendierski) Pilarek.
She married Jacob Jaraczewski on Oct. 6, 1936, in St. Hyacinth’s Church; he died in 1979.
She was retired from St. Mary’s Hospital and was a member of St. Hyacinth’s Church and its altar and rosary society.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Robert (Shirley) Bernard of Route 1, La Salle; two sons, Eugene of La Salle and James of Antioch, Ill.; 12 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by five brothers and two sisters.
