Services for Brittany Elizabeth Granberry will be at 2pm, today, April 11, 2011 at Stricklin-King Funeral Home Chapel in Yazoo City, MS with Brother Donnie Stuart, officiating. Visitation will be today from 11am until the time of service. Burial will follow at Central Holmes Cemetery under the direction of Stricklin-King Funeral Home.

Brittany died Friday, April 8, 2011, from injuries received in a motor vehicle accident. She was 19.

A resident of White Oak, Brittany was employed at Family Medical Clinic in Raleigh, MS. She attended Rock Bluff Baptist Church in White Oak. Ms. Granberry was a 2009 graduate from Raleigh High School with highest honors and was Co-Captain of the Raleigh High School 2008-2009 State Championship Cheerleading Squad.

She was preceded in death by her great grandmother, Bernadine "Hattie" Deemer (Yazoo); her great grandfather, G. W. Arender (Yazoo); her great aunts, Cecilia "Mamie" Phelps (Nitta Yuma), and Madeline Posey(Yazoo).

She is survived by a son, Ryder William Granberry of White Oak; her mother, Spirit Burrell Means (James) of White Oak; her father, Adam Granberry (New Orleans, La.); her brother, John Hagen Ketchum and her step-brother Austin Means, both of White Oak; her great grandmothers, Mary Burrell(Yazoo) and June Arender(Yazoo); her grandparents, Carol and George McCain(Florida); Johnny Granberry(Lexington); Nadine A. Granberry(Yazoo); Roy and Kim Everett(Yazoo); step grandparents; Jerry & Jeannie Means (White Oak); her uncles, John Granberry(Madison); Sam Granberry(Madison); Chris Everett(Yazoo); her aunts, Tracy Marberry(Water Valley); Sara G. Williams(Brandon); Tamieca Everett(Yazoo) and numerous cousins, great aunts, great uncles, and friends.

Pallbearers will be Grant Means, McCaa Fuller, Thomas Powell, Matt Weghorst, Bill Steinriede, Carter Stanley, Jim Barry, and Allen Cummings.
