William Orrell Dies In Evanston Thursday

EVANSTON (Special)—William Franklin Orrell, 96, died Thursday, Oct. 3, at his home at 236 Fourteenth Street.

He was born Aug. 4, 1867, in Green Forest, Ark., the son of Marcus and Fern Purcelly Orrell. He married Alice Buell Dec. 26, 1895, in Green Forest. They located in 1917 in Denver, where Mr. Orrell was employed as a carpenter for Union Pacific Railroad. In 1927 they moved to Evanston, where he continued working for Union Pacific, retiringi n 1940. He was a member of the Baptist Church.

Surviving are his wife; one daughter, Mrs. Joseph C. (Georgia) Seitz; one son, Harlan G. Orrell, all of Evanston; one brother, John Orrell, Green Forest, Ark., four grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were conducted Saturday at Union Presbyterian Church, Evanston, by the Rev. Jay H. Confair. Burial was in the Evanston City Cemetery.
