Sarah Prather Lambert, 76, of Florence, passed away Tuesday, July 12, 2005.Visitation was 6-9 p.m. Thursday, July 14, at Spry Serenity Chapel, Florence. Her funeral service will be Friday, July 15, at 1 p.m. in the funeral home chapel, with Chris Underwood officiating. Interment will be in Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.Mrs. Lambert was a member of Highland Baptist Church. She was a loving wife of 56 years, loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.Survivors include her husband, Thomas M. Lambert Jr.; sons, Lacey Lambert and wife, Clara, Sam Lambert and wife, Cherovise; daughters, Belinda Briggs and husband, Wendell, Marie Dodd and husband, Keith, all of Florence; 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.The family wishes to express their special thanks to Southern Care Hospice and the staff at Merrill Gardens Assisted Living.Spry Serenity Chapel, Florence, is directing.
