Imogene "Jean" Arbutus Golliday, 82 of Berkeley Springs, died February 9, 2009 at Autumn Acres in Berkeley Springs.

Born November 23, 1927 in Hampshire County, she was the daughter of the late Frank S. Allen and Ethel Kidwell Allen.

She was preceded in death by her husband Homer Curtis Golliday in 2003; one infant daughter, Sandra Kay Golliday; one sister, Iva E. McDonald, three brothers; Brady C. Allen, Ralph B. Allen and Cecil Allen.

She was an avid Bingo player, a member of the Berkeley Springs Fire Department Auxiliary and a member of The American Legion Auxiliary.

She is survived by four sons; Roger D. Allen, Hancock, Ronnie L. O'Brien, Scott C. Golliday both of Berkeley Springs and Kevin L. Golliday, Augusta, W.Va., seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Friends will be received at Hunter-Anderson Funeral Home, 36 South Green Street, Berkeley Springs, Wednesday, February 11, 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m.

Services will be Thursday, February 12 at 11 a.m. with viewing one hour prior to service with the Rev. Steve Dawson officiating.

Burial will be at Mt. Union Cemetery at 1 p.m. in Slanesville, W.Va.
